Bauroc gas concrete lintel

BAUROC (Aeroc) roof slabs are made of autoclaved gas concrete with an average dry density of 500 kg/m³ according to the width of AEROC blocks (500mm, 375 mm, 300 mm, 250 mm, 200 mm, 150 mm, 100mm). Their height is 200 mm (height of one block), 400 mm (height of two blocks), or 600 mm (height of three blocks).

The shape and compliance of AEROC roof slabs are reinforced gas concrete beams with a smooth surface. The reinforcement of AEROC roof slabs consists of ribbed bars, which are interconnected to form a unified spatial framework. The reinforcement is treated with an anti-corrosion composition. AEROC roof slabs comply with harmonized standard requirements and have been assigned the CE marking.

Application: AEROC roof slabs are used as load-bearing elements for covering window and door openings in AEROC block walls (except for slabs with a width of 100 mm). AEROC roof slabs are designed as continuous beams and are intended to bear certain loads. It is not recommended to load the slabs with concentrated loads. The reinforcement of the slabs allows for supporting the intermediate floor panels of multi-story buildings directly on the slabs without the need for additional block rows.

Marking: Each slab is marked on the end surface, indicating the type and dimensions of the slab, as well as the dimensions of the support bars.

Installation: It is recommended to use a crane or any other lifting mechanism with the necessary lifting capacity, using sling straps, to move the slabs. Slabs with smaller dimensions can also be installed using manual force. During installation, the information provided on the slab marking should be taken into account. The arrow should point downwards and the text should be horizontal. It is prohibited to install the slab upside down (the arrow at the end of the slab points upwards) or sideways (the arrow at the end of the slab points to the left or right). The slabs should be supported by support bars of at least 250 mm, AEROC recommends 300 mm. In the case of longer slabs, it may be necessary to increase the support surface. The support surfaces should be smooth and made of solid blocks. The support surfaces and the previous row of blocks should be bonded with a full joint (without air gaps). The slab itself is also completely covered with an adhesive layer. Where possible, it is recommended to use slabs with a height of 400 mm. The load-bearing capacity of such slabs is always greater, and the deflection is significantly smaller. It is prohibited to saw the slabs to reduce their dimensions, drill holes in the slabs, mill channels, or make any other changes that affect the properties of the slabs.

Dimensions: AEROC roof slabs are manufactured according to the width of AEROC blocks (500mm, 375 mm, 300 mm, 250 mm, 200 mm, 150 mm, 100mm). Their height is 200 mm (height of one block), 400 mm (height of two blocks), or 600 mm (height of three blocks) if their length is greater than 5 m. All slabs (except for slabs with a width of 100 mm) are used as load-bearing elements. The table reflects the dimensions of the slabs that are produced starting from 01.01.2010. Since spring 2007, non-load-bearing slabs with a width of 100 mm have been produced. The slabs are intended for covering door and window openings in non-load-bearing partition walls made of AEROC Element partition panels with a width of 100 mm. AEROC is not responsible in cases where the slabs are used in violation of the regulations.
