Bauroc Renove 100 gas concrete insulation board 600x400mm (1.44m3)

RENOVE 100 thermal insulation boards are a gas concrete product with a dry density of 375 kg/m³ and a compressive strength of fb = 2.5 N/mm². The dimensions of the product are 100x400x600 mm. The thermal conductivity of the material (calculated value) after drying is λD = 0.10 W/mK.  

Thermal insulation boards are used for internal insulation of historic brick or masonry walls, as well as for buildings that require renovation and cannot have external insulation. In houses built during the Soviet era, RENOVE 100 thermal insulation boards are suitable for insulating external walls made of bricks, blocks, or panels. Although the products are designed for internal insulation of old masonry walls, they can also be used for external insulation.  

In addition to its good thermal insulation properties,  RENOVE 100 thermal insulation boards are sufficiently durable to allow for the attachment of wall cabinets and cornices. Furthermore, these insulation boards do not require additional finishing with plasterboard. Gas concrete has good water capillary conductivity, making it a capillary-active insulation material. This means that in a critical situation, if condensation forms on the inner surface of the old wall during the cold season, it will move towards the warm room and, thanks to its capillary moisture guiding ability, it will evaporate into the air.

Unlike vapor-impermeable insulation,  RENOVE 100 insulation boards allow the internal layer to dry out during summer, preventing the risk of condensation beneath the insulation layer during hot summer weather.

bauroc RENOVE thermal insulation boards are category I masonry blocks that meet the requirements of the harmonized masonry standard and are CE marked. They have a smooth surface and a diagonal stripe.  

The first row of boards should be installed at the level of the existing floor. They should be attached with gas concrete adhesive to the previously plastered old wall. The adhesive should be applied to both the horizontal and vertical edges.
NOTE: When gluing the board to the plastered wall, make sure that the adhesive is evenly applied to the entire board and that no gaps form between it and the wall
