Roll materials belong to the group of "soft roof coverings". These are rolls of woven material. Rolls are produced approximately 1000 mm wide and from 7 to 20 m long, with the length of the roll determined by the thickness of the material, which is usually 1.0-6.0 mm.

Roll materials can provide water resistance even at zero slope, but the recommended upper limit of slope is 45-50°С. Modern roll material roof coverings are usually double-layered. Therefore, the upper and lower layer materials are separated. The weight of 1 m2 of roof covering depends on the type of material and the number of layers, and is approximately 5-12 kg.
