Drying is a natural method that preserves the products nutritional value, taste and aroma. The food dryer is a kitchen accessory designed mainly for those who like to pick mushrooms to add to the aromatic Christmas borscht. With dried fruits, vegetables and herbs you can prepare your own infusions and teas, or have a dried banana, apple or kiwi as a sweet addition to oatmeal or desserts, or just a healthy snack.

The Blaupunkt FDD601 food dryer has five transparent trays, with a total drying area of 3250 cm2. The trays are 3 cm high and are 32 x 25 cm in size which makes it possible to process a large number of gifts of the forest or favourite fruits at once. The drying speed is also ensured by the power of 420 W. This ensures high temperature required to dry larger or more humid fruits, such as apple slices. The forced air flow improves circulation and allows the products to dry more evenly.

The FDD601 is provided with temperature control in the range of 35°C – 70°C. A wide range of temperatures allows to adjust the drying conditions to suit the products being processed and to bring out the best taste and aroma. The timer from 0.5 to 24 hours allows you to set the drying time, so that you do not forget about the drying and the device switches itself off after the set time has elapsed.

The housing casing is made of high quality safe materials (BPA-free) and has a control panel at the bottom, with a display and touch buttons which greatly adds to the comfort of use.
