Fast water heating thanks to powerful heating element
Depending on the model, the heating element power ranges from 1.6 - 2.4kW. Thanks to this, water heating from 15 - 65°C degrees takes from one and a half to three and a half hours, depending on the Bosch Tronic model and volume. All models are equipped with a thermometer that shows the current hot water temperature in the tank.

Capillary thermostat
More precise thermostat compared to standard, bimetal thermostats. It is designed as a tube containing a capsule with a special liquid that reacts to changes in water temperature. When the capsule heats up, the liquid expands and pushes the switch, resulting in the interruption of the water heating process. Compared to regular bimetal thermostats, the capillary thermostat is much more precise. Its accuracy is +/- 3°C.

"Dry" heating element
In the Bosch Tronic 6000T and 8000T models, the electric heating element is located in a bulb and all water impurities settle on this bulb instead of the heating element itself. As a result, we get a longer service life because the electric heating element does not have direct contact with water. In case of heating element damage, it can be quickly replaced without the need to unscrew the tank flange and drain the water, as is required with regular heating elements.

"Anti-freeze" mode
The minimum recommended room temperature is 0°C degrees. However, to prevent water from freezing in the tank during the winter period, it needs to be insulated or set to the anti-freeze mode. The anti-freeze mode means setting the thermostat to a temperature of 10°C degrees. This way, the thermostat will maintain a temperature of 10°C degrees in the tank during the winter period while consuming a minimal amount of electricity.
