Brain Games Splendor Board Game (BRG#SPLEN)

"Splendor" is a game of chip collecting and card purchasing. Players are Renaissance merchants who try to acquire gem mines, transportation, and shops to gain the most victory points. If you are wealthy enough, at some point you may even be visited by a noble, which of course will further increase your victory points.

During the game, players collect gem and gold tokens. With these tokens, they purchase development cards that provide both victory points and bonuses. These bonuses, in turn, allow the player to purchase future cards at a lower cost. Once a player reaches at least 15 points, the round is completed, and the player with the most points becomes the winner.

This is one of those games with very simple rules and quick turns - each player must perform exactly one action on their turn. However, the choices are very significant - take more tokens, which are the "currency" of this game, purchase one of the cards, or reserve one of the cards to purchase later and not leave it for others. All of this is accompanied by beautiful visual design and great game components, resulting in an excellent experience.
