Brick borders - A proper frame is necessary for a good pavement. Borders or framing stones securely hold the load on the edge of the pavement, prevent material from leaking into the base layer, prevent movement of the paving stone in the transverse direction, and its settling. It is known that on a paved section without stone borders, gaps appear between the seams of the paving stones after each season when the snow melts. Usually, the border is installed before laying the external pavement, when the base for laying the paving stones is completely ready. Sidewalk and road borders are installed on a concrete layer, the thickness of which from the bottom and sides of the border is 10 cm. When paving paths, parking lots, or home grounds, it is better to use a border that matches the color and texture of the chosen paving stone.
