Priming paint for cationic insulation of water-soluble, brownish discolouring wood components.

Suitable for insulating priming coats on wood and derived timber products (wood based materials) with content of water-soluble, brownish discolouring wood components. The primer is used before applying Capacryl acrylic enamels or Capadur Wetterschutzfarbe NQG.

Suitable Substrates
All wooden parts intended to be coated with water-dilutable/waterborne acrylic coatings and which are at risk of showing brownish discolouration in the finishing coat, caused by water-soluble wood components.
The substrate must be clean, sound/stable, dry, and free from all substances that may prevent good adhesion.
The moisture content of dimensionally stable wood must not exceed 13 %. Moisture content of limited dimensionally stable wood and wooden parts of unstable shape: max. 15%.
Basic principles of wood preservation for constructions must be followed. They are the basis for a durable wood preservation with coating materials.
