The ESSVE ONE-ICE chemical anchor is suitable for fixing facades, roofs, wooden structures, metal structures; metal profiles, columns, beams, brackets, ledges, sanitary equipment, cable ducts, etc.

ESSVE ONE-ICE is specifically designed for installations in sub-zero temperatures, and the product has a curing time and working time designed for a temperature range of -20 °C to +10 °C. For installation at room temperature, we recommend the standard ESSVE ONE product.

Usage and storage

Storage: Store in a cool and dark place, storage temperature: from +5°C to +25°C

Shelf life: at least 3 months.

The cartridge can be reused until the expiration date by replacing the static mixer or resealing the cartridge with a cap.

The ESSVE ONE-ICE anchor mass is a high-performance two-component mass consisting of vinyl ester resins, hardener, and quartz sand. The mixed product has no odor, making it suitable for indoor use as well. ESSVE ONE-ICE is completely styrene-free, making the product safer to use. The product is installed with a standard 300 ml silicone gun.

The product has the following approvals and test reports.

• ETA for installation in cracked and non-cracked concrete (option 1).

• Installation in water-filled holes (M8 - M16 and Ø8 - Ø16 mm).

• Seismic performance category C1.

• ETA for masonry and lightweight concrete (M8 - M16) at temperatures above 0 °C.

The mass and hardener are mixed in a special mixing nozzle. When properly mixed, the anchor mass should be light gray in color.

Before inserting the anchor weight, the hole must always be cleaned and blown out. Since the performance of the anchor connection is based on adhesion to the surrounding material, it is very important to always carefully follow the ETA-approved anchor mass installation instructions for hole cleaning and blowing to remove any loose concrete dust and drilling debris that could otherwise impair load-bearing capacity and safety. When installing in cracked concrete, a special installation procedure indicated in the ETA assessment must be followed.

When installing in hollow blocks, a perforated sleeve must be used. The perforated sleeve is available in three sizes to match M8 to M16 threaded screws / studs. For more information, see the section on chemical anchor weights. If a perforated sleeve is used, the entire sleeve must be filled with mass.
