Essve Lightweight Concrete Screws, Countersunk Head

ESSVE lightweight concrete screws are used for fastening in porous materials such as lightweight concrete and lightweight clinker (also known as Leca, Ytong, Siporex, blue concrete, etc.). Lightweight concrete screws can be used for the installation of wooden and steel frames, as well as for the attachment of drywall and interior objects, insulation installation, etc. For insulation installation, ESSVE insulation anchor plate Ø90 mm, article number 36122, can be used. The screws have a corrosion resistance class of C4: ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. The thread of the lightweight concrete screw is designed for fastening to porous materials such as lightweight concrete and lightweight clinker. The screw has a conical head and cutting threads to reduce the risk of overtightening and facilitate sinking into wood.

Lightweight concrete screws are screwed directly into lightweight concrete or lightweight clinker, i.e., no pre-drilling is required. It is recommended to use a torque screwdriver for installation. To avoid overtightening the screws, they should be screwed in with a low number of revolutions. Overtightening can damage the screw thread, significantly reducing its load-bearing capacity, and therefore the installation will need to be redone.
