Various types of flashings securely connect the roof window with any type of roof covering material. The main function of the flashings is to drain water and protect the window from snow and wind. Waterproof flashings are used for the installation of all types of FAKRO roof windows - both windows with hinges in the middle, as well as windows with hinges in the middle and at the top, and various window complexes. With the help of flashings, windows can be combined in various combinations. All standard flashings are made of aluminum and coated with polyester in a gray-brown tone, which is close to the RAL 7022 color and blends well with the most popular roof covering colors.
