Fakro SRD-L Sun Tunnel with Fixed Tube and Flat Cover

A tunnel light with a fixed SRD tube. SRD-_ with a fixed light reflecting tube. SRD-_/L with a light reflecting tube and natural lighting in the attic. The built-in tunnel in the ceiling provides convenient use of the space.

Approximately 10% higher heat transfer coefficient compared to the dome-integrated model of the tunnel light, allowing for faster installation of the tunnel light.

The SRD tunnel light consists of a roof element, three 61 cm long lighting tubes SRM, an elbow SRK, a ceiling frame, a prismatic light diffuser, and an installation kit. The total length of all connected sections in a straight line is 2.1m (SRD 550 - 1.8m).

FIXED LIGHT REFLECTING TUBE - The tube is made of aluminum and coated with an efficient, silver-containing, and light-reflecting (98%) layer (compared to a new mirror with a light reflectance coefficient of 90-95%). The minimal losses in the light transmission process allow for the use of even 12m long SRD light tunnels. During installation, it is not necessary to reduce the length of the lighting tube, as it is designed according to the telescope principle, simply push one tube into another to achieve the desired total length.

ELBOW - With the SRK elbow, it is possible to change the installation angle of the tubes from 0° to 65°. The SRD and SRD-_/L 550 tunnel lights are available with the SRK elbow upon customer's choice.

JUNCTION ELEMENT - It consists of a vacuum impregnated wooden frame, connected with a 0.6 mm thick sheet metal aluminum trim in RAL 7022 tone and a 3 mm thick, UV-resistant polycarbonate dome.

CEILING FRAME - The new ceiling frame is made of organic glass and equipped with a light diffusing element. Its cover is made of effective matte white polystyrene. The ceiling elements of flat tunnel lights, compared to tunnel lights equipped with a dome, have a more rounded shape.
