Fragranite sinks are made up of 80% of the fourth hardest mineral in the world, quartz, or commonly known as granite. The remaining 20% is an acrylic binder that provides stability to the granite particles and gives the sink flexibility.

The kitchen is a place where the spread of bacteria is undesirable, even though the environment is suitable for it. Therefore, special attention should be paid to hygiene here. Bacteria that have settled on a regular surface can start to develop in as little as 20 minutes. This negatively affects kitchen cleanliness and food preparation. FRANKE Fragranite sinks with the new Sanitized® treatment technology protect the surface from bacterial spread. The technology does not replace surface cleaning with regular agents, but significantly improves invisible surface cleanliness.

Resistant to scratches and abrasions. The sink is made of the fourth hardest material in the world. Everyday metallic objects used in the household are of lower hardness. When rubbing, for example, a fork against the sink, metal particles will remain, which can be easily washed away without a trace.

High level of hygiene. Very small granite particles are used next to regular granite particles in the surface, making the surface even smoother and easier to clean. The Sanitized additive protects the material from bacterial growth.

Stain resistance. FRANKE Fragranite+ sinks are resistant to all kinds of stains that can occur in the kitchen. Removing persistent stains may also require a longer time to eliminate them.

Impact resistance. The material is resistant to various accidents that can happen in the kitchen. Tests show that there are no traces left in the sink after various kitchen utensils fall on it.

Protection against UV radiation. FRAGRANITE+ material is resistant to ultraviolet radiation and therefore the sinks do not lose their original color. The granite particles are fully toned before the sink is made. All layers of the sink are in one tone with a durable color.

High temperature resistance. Fragranite+ sink material is designed to be temporarily resistant even to very high temperatures up to 280°C.
