Surface preparation

Unpainted surfaces: Clean the surface from dust and dirt. Remove resin from wood surfaces. Prime with Tikkurila Otex Akva primer. Prime resinous areas and discolored wood surfaces with Tikkurila Multistop isolation primer. To achieve a smooth final result, sand the dried primed surface before painting. Clean metal surfaces (e.g. nail heads) from rust, wash with Special Clean detergent, rinse with water, and let dry. Prime with Universal Korrostop metal primer. Follow the instructions for use when using primers. Previously painted surfaces: Remove old, peeling paint residues and rust (e.g. from nail heads). Wash the surface with Special Clean detergent, rinse with water, and let dry. Sand glossy and hard surfaces to a matte finish or wash with undiluted Special Clean detergent. Prime spackled surfaces with Tikkurila Otex Akva primer, metal surfaces with Universal Korrostop. Treat cracks and uneven surfaces with Vivacolor Snickeri putty knife, sand the surface, and remove dust.

Application

Before painting, thoroughly mix Furniture 30 and dilute if necessary with water up to 10% by volume. Apply 1 or 2 coats with a roller, brush, or sprayer. For large areas, it is recommended to use a roller and smooth with a brush.
