Vivacolor Hansa Silicate Paint for Exterior Works

Vivacolor paint for exterior Hansa Silicate - Silicate paint for mineral facades. Suitable for residential, commercial, industrial and warehouse buildings. Suitable for concrete, lime or lime-cement plaster, silicate bricks, as well as surfaces previously painted with lime, lime-cement, cement or silicate paints. Can also be used on mineral surfaces indoors. Consumption (per coat) 3-5 m2/l. Paint consumption depends on the application method and roughness of the painted surface. Tinting: The paint can be used as white (SA base) or tinted according to Tikkurila Facade and Hansa Silicate color charts (SA, SB and SC base). Tinted products cannot be changed or returned. Application with a brush, roller or high-pressure sprayer. The nozzle of the high-pressure sprayer should be 0.018" - 0.023" or 0.460 - 0.580 mm.

Drying time (+23 °C, relative air humidity 50%) 12 hours - can be recoated.

Tools can be cleaned with water. The paint can be thinned with Hansa Silicate Primer, following the instructions below.

Sealed in the original manufacturer's packaging - 2 years from the production date (see on the package).

Prime porous absorbent surfaces with Hansa Silicate Primer and water mixture (mixing ratio 1:1), use the "wet on wet" method, i.e., apply 2-3 coats of primer paint solution on the surface in a short period of time. After 12 hours, prime the surface with Hansa Silicate Primer and Hansa Silicate mixture (mixing ratio 1:2). Prime moderately absorbent surfaces with Hansa Silicate Primer. After 12 hours, prime the surface with Hansa Silicate Primer and Hansa Silicate mixture (mixing ratio 1:2). Prime hard and dense surfaces with Hansa Silicate Primer and Hansa Silicate mixture (mixing ratio 1:2).

The surface must be clean and dry, air temperature from +5 °C to +28 °C, and air relative humidity below 80%. Avoid high temperatures and direct sunlight during painting.

Before painting, mix the paint thoroughly. If necessary, thin Hansa Silicate Primer up to 10% by volume. To achieve a uniform surface tone, mix the required amount of tinted paint in one container before painting. Allow the primer coat to dry for at least 12 hours. Apply 1 or 2 coats of Hansa Silicate with a brush, roller or sprayer. Attention! Surfaces that are not intended to be painted (e.g., window panes, natural stone or metal, plants, etc.) should be covered before painting.
