Vivacolor Ceiling 2 A Ceiling Paint

Deep matte (2) water-based ceiling paint. This paint can easily be applied to a smooth, non-reflective ceiling surface. The paint has been awarded the Nordic Ecolabel and is recommended by the Latvian Asthma and Allergy Association. The product contains a minimal amount of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Application conditions:The surface must be clean and dry, air temperature above +5°C, relative air humidity below 80%. Avoid painting in windy conditions and high temperatures.

You can touch after 0.50(h). Can be recoated after 2(h).

 Surface preparation

Naked surfaces: Clean the surface from dust and dirt. Smooth out uneven surfaces with a suitable Vivacolor series putty knife. Sand the surface and clean off sanding dust. Prime porous or uneven surfaces, as well as fiberboard or cardboard surfaces, with water-based primer Primer 1. Prime metal surfaces (such as nail heads) with a suitable metal primer Universal Korrostop or other suitable anti-corrosion primer. Prime surfaces that have been puttied with chalk putty with alkyd primer Special Primer. Follow the instructions for use when using primer. Using primer reduces paint consumption and improves adhesion between the surface and the paint. Previously painted surfaces: Remove old peeling paint layers from the surface. Wash the surface with Special Clean detergent, rinse with water and allow to dry. Sand glossy and hard surfaces to a matte finish and clean off sanding dust. Prime weakly bound and dusty surfaces with alkyd primer Special Primer. Use a suitable Vivacolor series putty knife to fill cracks and holes, sand the surface and clean off sanding dust. Use diluted paint at a ratio of 10% for priming puttied surfaces.

Application

Before painting, thoroughly mix the paint and, if necessary, dilute with water up to 10% by volume. Apply 1-2 coats with a roller, brush, or sprayer.
