Isover Facade One-sided adhesive tape

ISOVER FacadeTape is a one-sided adhesive tape designed for bonding ISOVER Facade wind insulation sheet joints. It can also be used for bonding vapor barrier joints. The tape is suitable for bonding to PE, PA, PU, PP, and aluminum films, as well as paper, wood, and metal surfaces. The tape is intended for both indoor and outdoor use.

Installation

ISOVER Facade wind insulation vertical and horizontal joints are bonded using 60mm wide ISOVER FacadeTape. In corners of buildings, wind insulation is bonded vertically using 90mm wide tape. It is recommended to apply the tape immediately after installing the wind insulation to provide immediate protection against precipitation. Insulation with unsealed joints should not be exposed to wind for an extended period of time. In cold weather, the surface of the wind insulation sheet should be warmed up before applying the tape, and the tape should be at an appropriate temperature for successful installation. The minimum installation temperature for the tape is -5°C, which ensures good adhesion. If the installation temperature is below +5°C, the tape should be pressed more firmly than usual to ensure sufficient adhesion. The tape reaches its maximum adhesion strength a few minutes after installation. The tape consumption per 1 m2 of sheet is 1.4 m (for sheets with dimensions 1200x1800) and 1.2 m (for sheets with dimensions 1200x3000). The tape consumption also includes window sill bonding.
