Fiberboard Insulation 1875x1200x25mm (tongue and groove)

Isoplaat insulation boards are a natural material with wide range of applications. The insulation boards are made of wood fiber with a ready-made board density of +/- 270 kg/m3. The outer surface of the boards is coated with a 0.5...1mm thick layer of paint for moisture protection. The material is widely used in the construction of external walls and roofs of timber frame buildings. The insulation boards provide thermal resistance, wind resistance, reduce temperature fluctuations indoors, and provide sound insulation.

The insulation boards are used in the construction of external walls, ceilings, and roofs of buildings as elements that provide wind protection, thermal insulation, and structural strength.

INSULATION BOARD 25 MM WITH GROOVES

• Prevents cold bridging without seam treatment with adhesive tape
• Used on roofs with a slope above 20° (board with 4 grooves)
• Suitable as a base for plastering

Unlike regular insulation boards, boards with grooves are installed horizontally (across the frame). This eliminates the possibility of the board joints aligning with the frame (no need for additional work - installing wooden slats, adhesive tapes, etc.) - completely eliminating cold bridges (it is possible to install the boards against each other with an offset).

The distance from the edge of the board to the nail or screw should be at least 35 mm (to avoid damaging the board). Nails/screws on the edge of the board should be spaced at intervals of 100-150 mm, and in the middle of the board at intervals of at least 200 mm.
