The latest generation insulation film for creating airtight vapor barriers. Suitable for wooden and masonry construction walls, ceilings, roofs, and floors. Particularly recommended for buildings with ventilated facades.
ISOVER Vario® Xtra water vapor permeability depends on the surrounding moisture conditions. In winter, the film acts as a regular vapor barrier, preventing moisture from entering the building structure. In summer, it allows moisture to transfer from the structure to the rooms, thereby reducing the moisture content of the structure. Thanks to the special operating principle of ISOVER Vario® Xtra, it helps compensate for construction errors when excessive moisture enters the structure.
ISOVER Vario® Xtra can be used as an effective regulator of vapor concentration if additional insulation of the structures inside the building is required - both for solid walls and non-ventilated wooden walls. The UV resistance of the film allows it to be installed from the outside of the building, for example, when renovating the roof.
ISOVER Vario® Xtra is designed for use in spaces with normal moisture load. It is not recommended for use in spaces with high humidity (> 70%), such as saunas and swimming pools. If the construction project, storage, and manufacturer's installation conditions are followed, the guaranteed service life of ISOVER Vario® Xtra is 50 years.
