Claydite

Keramzīts is a lightweight, cellular structure porous material similar to gravel or chips. It is obtained by firing easily fusible clay rocks, which are sintered by rapidly heating them to a temperature of 1050-1300°C.

Uses of Keramzīts:

• Thermal insulation for flat/pitched roofs
• Insulation for intermediate floor coverings for heat and sound
• Support walls for weight compensation
• Replacement of weak soil in construction
