Application

Kiilto Express K is a self-leveling, normal drying, fiber-reinforced cement-based leveling compound that can be applied with a pump. It is also suitable for manual application.

Suitable for new construction and renovation projects in homes, offices, and public spaces. Not suitable for industrial applications. Used for leveling floors and creating slopes indoors. Suitable substrates for product application are concrete, lightweight concrete, and ceramics/natural stone.

Kiilto Express K can be used for bonded or unbonded (floating) constructions. Suitable for installation of electric and water-heated floors indoors.

The layer of applied leveling compound cannot be left as the final floor finish. It must be covered with tile, floating parquet, or commonly used soft floor coverings. Not intended for leveling floor surfaces before installing solid wood parquet.

A low alkaline level layer of the product protects adhesive and vinyl floor coverings from damage caused by alkaline moisture in concrete. Tests have shown that a 5 mm leveling layer provides a protective effect.

• Coverable: 1 day / 1 mm (max. 30 mm) (+23°C, 50% RH), 2-3 days/1 mm (> 30 mm) (+23°C, 50% RH). Unfavorable drying conditions will delay complete drying of the product. When installing floor coverings, follow national standards and flooring manufacturer's instructions.
