Kiilto Kerapid DF Rapid Hardening Cement Based Tile Adhesive 15kg

Fast-setting cement-based adhesive for ceramic and stone tiles and moisture-sensitive natural stone. Grouting can be done after 2-4 hours. Can also be used for outdoor work.

Application

Very fast-setting, non-shrinking cement-based adhesive for ceramic, clinker, and stone tile installation on vinyl, painted, tiled, clinker surfaces, construction boards, and other surfaces treated with Kiilto waterproofing membrane or Kiilto Kosteussulku moisture insulation. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Not recommended for areas constantly submerged in water, such as swimming pools.

The surface must be clean and free of dust. Remove water-soluble leveling compounds from the surface. Dry and absorbent surfaces should be moistened and primed with Kiilto Start Primer. Board surfaces should be primed with undiluted Start Primer. Underfloor heating should be turned off approximately 24 hours before tiling. When tiling vinyl, painted, old tile, and clinker surfaces (indoor only):

- check the adhesion of the tiling surface to the old substrate
- remove wax, grease, and dirt with an alkaline cleaner and rinse thoroughly.

After drying, if necessary, the surface can be sanded with sandpaper. Thoroughly clean the sanding dust.
