Kiilto Ultra Fix Cement-based Tile Adhesive 20kg

An elastic cement-based adhesive designed for bonding ceramic tiles, natural stone, and aerated concrete on Kiilto waterproofing membrane layer, vinyl, tile or brick surfaces, as well as on regular building boards suitable for tile and stone coverings. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Suitable for floors with underfloor heating.

Application

A non-flowing adhesive suitable for bonding tiles, brick, and moisture-resistant stone on vinyl, painted, tiled, brick, and other surfaces, such as plasterboard treated with Kiilto waterproofing membrane or Kiilto Kosteussulku moisture insulation. Also suitable for outdoor use. Not recommended for use in places constantly submerged in water, such as swimming pools. Also suitable for heated floors.
The surface must be clean and free of dust. Remove water-soluble leveling compounds from the surface. Dry and absorbent surfaces should be primed with diluted Kiilto Start Primer or moistened with water. Panels should be primed with undiluted Kiilto Start Primer. When tiling vinyl, painted, old tile, and brick surfaces, make sure the surface is firm and check the adhesion of the tiling surface to the old substrate. Remove wax, grease, and dirt with an alkaline agent and rinse thoroughly. After drying, if necessary, the surface can be sanded with sandpaper. Clean the sanding dust thoroughly. Turn off the floor heating. 24 h before tiling.
