Kraft&Dele KD1839 Welding Inverter 230V

The KD1839 model is an inverter welder, whose construction is based on efficient IGBT transistors. It is equipped with an LCD display that shows the current welding current set with a button for smooth adjustment. The IGBT transistor combines the advantages of two types of transistors, the ease of control of field-effect transistors and the high switching voltage and speed of bipolar transistors.

The HOT START function allows temporarily increasing the welding current above the set value of the welder. HOT START operates when the arc is struck and is designed to prevent electrode sticking to the material. It greatly helps in igniting the electrode.

The ANTI STICK function cuts off / minimizes the welding voltage and current in case of a short circuit between the electrode and the welded material. ANTI STICK makes it easier for the welder to detach the electrode.

The ARC FORCE function stabilizes the arc regardless of its length. It regulates the dynamics of the welding arc. Decreasing the function value gives a soft arc and a shallower penetration depth, while increasing the function value causes deeper penetration and the ability to weld with a short arc. With the highest ARC FORCE function value, it is possible to plunge the electrode into a molten metal pool and burn through the material. (In this model, the ARC FORCE function is automatically adjusted).

The welder is equipped with a cooling fan for electronic systems and Turbo FAN function, as well as a heat sensor that protects the device from overheating.

The device welds with a current ranging from 20 to 330 A, allowing welding with an electrode diameter from 1.5 mm to 5 mm. The weight of the welder is only 5.2 kg, making it very convenient. It also has a carrying strap to facilitate work at heights. Welding with a 1.5 mm electrode is already possible using a C 16 A slow-blow fuse. For operation with the maximum current of 330 A, protection of at least 20 A is required.
