Mapei Elastorapid Two-component highly flexible tile adhesive (C2FTE, S2)

Mapei tile adhesive Elastorapid is a two-component, highly elastic, improved cement-based adhesive. It sets quickly, has an extended bonding time, and provides non-slip properties for the installation of ceramic tiles, especially large format ones, and natural stone materials (such as marble, granite, etc.). It can be used on deformable surfaces, wood, high load surfaces, etc. Suitable for interior and exterior use. Elastorapid is a two-component tile adhesive available in gray and white colors. Component A is made of cement and graded aggregates, while component B is a synthetic latex. Elastorapid achieves high adhesion after 2-3 hours of setting, allowing the created floor and wall coverings to be used soon after installation.

APPLICATION

• For the installation of ceramic tiles, natural and artificial stone coverings in areas subjected to intensive loads.
• For the restoration and repair of tiles or natural stone coverings that need to be immediately put into use (public buildings, shopping centers, airports, etc.). Suitable for use even in hot weather. Compared to other fast-setting adhesives with extended bonding time, Elastorapid is easy to work with even in very hot weather.
• For the installation of tiles on deformable substrates (such as plasterboard, fiberboard, wood, etc.).
• For the rapid installation or repair of tile coverings in swimming pools, refrigerators, industrial plants, breweries, wineries, etc.
• For the installation of large format ceramic and natural stone tile coverings on facades, balconies, terraces, and roofs exposed to continuous sunlight and extreme temperature changes.
• For the creation of tile coverings in areas subjected to high mechanical loads and vibrations (such as metro platforms and tunnels).
• For the installation of tiles on concrete floors and walls.
• For the installation of tiles on heated floors or on existing tile or natural stone coverings.
• For the installation of moisture-sensitive natural stone slabs.
