UR012G has a brushless motor and 3 operating speeds (low 3500 min⁻¹/medium 5300 min⁻¹/high 6500 min⁻¹). The reverse rotation function allows the operator to quickly clear the trimmer head/blade from tangled grass and weeds. The constant speed function provides additional motor protection. Only the tool is included, battery and charger are not included.

Makita UR012G is compatible with Wet Guard/IPX4, which means high water resistance, allowing the device to be operated even when wet. AFT - Active Feedback Sensing Technology. The technology shuts off the motor if the blade rotation is suddenly stopped. Automatic torque Drive Technology (ADT) adjusts speed and torque during operation to ensure optimal performance.
