Mapei Mapecoat Universal Two-Component Solvent-Free Epoxy Coating for Concrete Surfaces

Mapecoat Universal is a wear-resistant epoxy-based composition for concrete floors, walls, ceilings, etc. It provides a chemically resistant, hard, smooth, and easy-to-clean surface. Mapecoat Universal is less prone to yellowing compared to other epoxy-based compositions.

Application

Mapecoat Universal can be used as a transparent epoxy-based composition for:

• creating an anti-dust coating
• surface priming
• creating a decorative floor coating using the "compact" embedding method
• creating a decorative anti-slip floor coating
• creating a decorative stone covering

Mapecoat Universal can also be used for fiberglass lamination by mixing it with quartz sand to obtain an epoxy resin mixture, or by mixing it with Sylothix 53 to obtain an epoxy grouting composition. Mapecoat Universal is typically applied on concrete and other cement-based substrates.
