Mapei Primer EP Rust Inhibitor Two-Component Epoxy Primer for Metal Surfaces, A+B 5kg (0186005Y0186105)

Primer EP Rustop is a two-component primer for protecting metal surfaces, manufactured according to the formula developed in MAPEI research and development laboratories. Thanks to the special zinc phosphate filler content, it provides protection against corrosion and rust for the metal surfaces on which it is applied: galvanized sheets and metal components such as drains and roof parts. Primer EP Rustop also improves the adhesion of the next epoxy and polyurethane-based coating layers.

Application

Primer EP Rustop is used on metal surfaces to promote adhesion before applying epoxy or polyurethane-based coatings. Primer EP Rustop also prevents and inhibits rust formation and has high adhesion to a wide range of metal surfaces, such as galvanized sheets, roof metal connection parts, and various types of drains, such as iron, steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, anodized aluminum, copper, light alloys, etc. Primer EP Rustop can also be used on vertical metal surfaces.
