Mapei Primer LT Acrylic-Based Adhesive Promoting Composition for Ultratop Loft and Cement-Based Screeds, White, 5kg (1558405)

Multi-functional adhesive promoting composition and ground works, specially suitable for improving adhesion between Ultratop Loft and MAPEI cement-based smoothing compounds on all types of absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces.

Primer LT is a water dispersion acrylic resin-based primer and adhesion promoter that does not contain solvents. It is easy to apply and has excellent adhesion, as well as being resistant to water and aging.

Primer LT is white, latex-based and ready to use composition that is easy to apply with a roller or brush.

Primer LT is not easily flammable and has a very low volatile organic compound (VOC) emission (EMICODE EC1 Plus). This product is not considered dangerous for applicators and end users in indoor spaces or places where it is applied, and it can be stored without special precautions.

Application examples

• Adhesive promoting composition for application between successive layers of Ultratop Loft on horizontal and vertical surfaces.
• Preparation of compact, smooth cement-based clones and concrete floors to be leveled with MAPEI leveling compounds (see Substrate preparation products).
• Before applying a leveling layer or adhesive on surfaces with remains of old adhesive or leveling layers.
• Treatment of gypsum, anhydrite, wood, water-resistant plaster, terrazzo, ceramic and stone surfaces before sanding or applying adhesive.
