Kiilto Master Pro Drywall Adhesive

Meets M1 classification for building material emissions. Designed for bonding glass fiber and heavy jute fabric wallpapers in dry indoor spaces. Also suitable for bonding fabric or vinyl wallpapers on paper backing. Do not use for bonding plastic materials.

Instructions for use

During bonding, the room should be at its normal temperature. Both the wallpapers and the adhesive should be heated to the same temperature. The surface should be dry, smooth, firm, and clean. Especially porous surfaces should be primed with diluted adhesive. Painted surfaces should be sanded, washed (e.g. with Kiilto Maalarinpesu), and rinsed thoroughly before bonding. Follow the instructions provided by the wallpaper manufacturer. Apply the adhesive to the substrate, for example, with a painter's roller on an area large enough to bond 1-2 wallpaper strips. Wallpaper bonding is done using the so-called wet bonding method. Lay the strips very tightly next to each other. Immediately clean fresh adhesive stains with a damp cloth or sponge. Vigorous rubbing can damage the color or sheen of the wallpaper. Painting the walls can be done no earlier than 24 hours after wallpaper bonding. When bonding fabric wallpapers on paper backing with a unidirectional thread pattern, apply the adhesive to the wallpaper.
