The new RB1100AHx4 Dude Edition features the Annapurna Alpine AL21400 central processor with four Cortex A15 cores, each clocked at 1.4 GHz, for a maximum throughput of up to 7.5 Gbps. The device supports IPsec hardware acceleration and is faster than any previous RouterBOARD device (up to 2.2 Gbps with AES128).
The device has a 1U rackmount enclosure, 13x Gigabit Ethernet ports, an RS232 serial port, and two redundant power supplies (with -48V DC telecom power input and 802.3at/af support). The RB1100AHx4 Dude Edition has multiple high-speed memory connectors (two SATA and two M.2) for using the Dude database, caching server memory, or any other high-capacity device. It includes a pre-installed 60GB M.2 disk.
