Tooth design - variable design with 4-6 teeth per inch and a positive 10° tooth angle provides the following advantages: - faster and more aggressive cutting; - improved heat dispersion during cutting, resulting in longer-lasting sharp teeth; - deeper gullets provide more effective chip removal, preventing chip buildup and heat formation; - the unique tooth angle has a lower tendency to catch on thinner materials; - the teeth are alternating on the sides to minimize friction and binding; - requires less feed pressure, achieved by combining aggressive tooth geometry and good chip removal, resulting in less force required during cutting.

Tooth material - Matrix II high-quality high-speed steel is used for the tooth zone. Matrix II steel contains 8% cobalt, allowing the teeth to maintain their initial hardness even at high working temperatures in metal cutting applications. Bimetal construction - high-speed steel teeth are laser welded to a highly alloyed steel body. The teeth are hardened in vacuum up to 65 HRC at 600°C, ensuring maximum durability and long service life. Thanks to the high wear resistance of Matrix II material, these hole saws are ideal for cutting tough and hard materials such as stainless steel and acid-resistant steel, as well as softer materials like wood.

Hole saw body - the 1.27 mm thick steel hole saw body is rigid to maintain its shape and flexible. - The effective cutting depth is 41 mm.

Back plate design - the back plates are made of thick steel, preventing widening of the openings over time. The thick back parts increase strength and rigidity, minimizing vibrations. 4 living hinge openings facilitate the placement and removal of the arbor. The perfectly machined circular back plate is especially important for hole saws with larger diameters.

Diagonal slots facilitate the insertion and removal of the plug.
