Nocchi Priox Submersible Water Pump

The submersible pumps PRIOX are designed for pumping sewage water. The pumps are used for both domestic sewage water pumping and industrial applications. They can be installed individually or in multiple units in different sewage water collection pits. They are also widely used in places where a relatively large amount of water needs to be delivered at low heights. Other applications include pumping swimming pools, preventing floods in basements, draining rainwater, and operating fountains.

Limitations of use:

1. The temperature of the pumped water must not exceed +40°C.
2. It is prohibited to pump water with mud, sand, gravel, clay, or other abrasive particles, as well as liquids containing oil products and chemically aggressive substances.
3. Not intended for watering gardens.

Construction:

The pump housing, motor cover, impeller wheel, and rotor are made of stainless steel. During operation, the pump is completely submerged in water, and the pumped fluid serves as a coolant for the motor. According to the VORT system, the impeller wheel self-cleans from adhering impurities during operation. The pump motor shaft is mounted in self-aligning ball bearings. There is a ceramic-graphite seal between the motor and the impeller wheel. The electric motor is equipped with temporary thermal protection against overheating. The pump is equipped with a 10-meter cable and a float-type gravity switch, which ensures the pump's automatic activation and deactivation based on changes in the fluid level.

Installation:

1) The pump must be placed on the floor of the pumping tank or hung above the sediment layer a few centimeters higher than the handle.
2) The pump should be positioned so that the float-type gravity switch can move freely in the vertical direction.
3) The maximum allowable submersion depth of the pump below the water level is up to 7 meters.

Adjustment of the gravity switch:

The gravity switch automatically turns the pump on and off depending on the water level. To fix it, there is a notch on the side of the pump handle. The cable of the gravity switch is placed in this notch. The length of the cable should be adjusted so that when the gravity switch is in the lower position, the pump is guaranteed to be disconnected from the power supply.

Operation:

1. The pump must be completely submerged in water during operation.
2. The pump does not require any lubrication or pre-filling of the housing with water. It is ready for operation immediately after being submerged in water.
