Kiilto NoWo Tape Adhesive

Designed for gluing non-woven wallpapers to absorbent or painted surfaces. Suitable for hand or specialized technique application. Can also be used for gluing wallpapers with a paper base by pre-moistening the wallpaper with glue. Not suitable for gluing plastic materials. Complies with M1 building material emission classification.

Consumption: 5-6 m²/l for non-woven wallpapers, 3-5 m²/l for wallpapers with a paper base with pre-moistening

Instructions for use

During gluing, the room should be at its normal temperature. Both the wallpapers and the glue should be heated to the same temperature. The surface should be dry, smooth, firm, and clean. Remove old wallpapers and loose paint. Smooth out and sand any unevenness. Prime or pre-treat highly absorbent surfaces with glue. For priming, use a moisture-resistant, matte primer or dilute wallpaper glue with water in a 1:1 ratio. Wash painted surfaces, for example, with Kiilto Maalarinpesu (paint cleaning agent) and rinse thoroughly. Non-woven wallpapers of fixed size do not expand in moisture and do not need to be pre-moistened with glue. Apply the glue evenly on the wall, for example, with a roller, or apply it on the back of the wallpaper with a wallpaper pasting machine. Start from the ceiling line and align the wallpaper with a firm brush or smooth spatula, starting from the middle and moving towards the edges to remove any air bubbles at the bottom. Be careful not to smear the wallpaper surface with glue. Immediately wipe off excess glue from the seams with a damp cloth or sponge. Strong rubbing can damage the color or shine of the wallpaper. Also suitable for paintable, fixed-size wallpapers and wallpapers with a paper base after pre-moistening with glue. Not intended for woven fiberglass materials. Ensure good ventilation in the workspace. Follow the wallpaper manufacturer's instructions.
