Uses a sloping insulated roof and wall construction as a windproof insulating membrane. When applying the material, the dark side should face outward and create 20 cm overlaps. The main task of the windproof insulation is to provide optimal conditions for the thermal insulation material and the external structures of the building. The main functions of the windproof membrane are to protect the thermal insulation layer from air and moisture penetration, as well as to ensure one-way movement of water vapor from the inside to the outside. Therefore, windproof membranes should also have a good level of vapor permeability.

The functions of windproof membranes are somewhat similar to mineral wool windproof boards (such as PAROC, ISOVER or ROCKWOOL), but the advantage of membranes is their lower cost, higher density, and certain types of membranes provide increased resistance to water. The most important quality criteria for windproof insulation are: high vapor permeability (desired diffusion coefficient greater than 1200 g/m²); longevity (at least 50 years); increased water resistance. A high-quality windproof membrane should be able to withstand the pressure of a water column over two meters high. The windproof insulation membrane is tightly attached to the thermal insulation material from the outside (without gaps), creating 10-15 cm overlaps, which are recommended to be sealed with dedicated adhesive tapes, such as Tyvek tape. Ventilation gaps should be formed above the windproof insulation roofs or walls, no less than 5 cm (roofs) and no less than 2 cm (walls). TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
