Construction block, Keraterm 12. The ceramic construction block Keraterm has been known in Western Europe for many decades. More than 40% of residential houses are built from this material. Over the years, developers, architects, builders, and residents have recognized that ceramic blocks are the best material for building and living in houses. AS LODE started production of Keraterm in 2001. Keraterm has gained recognition from architects, civil engineers, and builders, as evidenced by the increasing number of construction projects that use Keraterm.

Keraterm 12 blocks are intended for non-load-bearing partition walls. The blocks can also be used in insulated three-layer masonry wall constructions.

Wall thickness = 12 cm; Compressive strength = 10 N/mm²; Sound insulation = 42 dB; Water absorption = 25%; Frost resistance cycles = 25; Bulk density = 0.85 g/cm³. Durability - The compressive strength of 12 Mpa allows the material to be used in the construction of multi-story residential buildings. Sound insulation - The block structure, similar to a beehive, effectively absorbs sound propagation. Therefore, Keraterm is popular not only in residential buildings but also in the construction of public buildings (for example, if a building is planned to have both a bowling alley and a cinema). Thermal conductivity - Houses made of Keraterm blocks retain heat. Thanks to the material structure, temperature fluctuations in the rooms are minimal. This allows for energy savings and reduced operating costs. Fire resistance - Like other ceramic products, Keraterm is fire-resistant and can withstand very high temperatures without visible deformation. Air permeability - Walls made of Keraterm breathe and remain dry. The capillarity of ceramics ensures the transport of moisture from the inside of the room to the outside in the direction of the heat and moisture gradient. Naturalness - Keraterm is 100% natural material. It is produced using Latvian clay and only natural additives (water, sawdust). Economy - The vertical interlock allows for savings on mortar, as it does not need to be filled in vertical joints.
