Sakret BF concrete / mortar with antifreeze additives -10ºC - Designed for the production and repair of concrete and reinforced concrete structures, working at temperatures up to -10°C. Suitable for heated floors. Excellent mechanical and climatic resistance, does not contain asbestos. High resistance in aggressive environments. Water and frost resistant. Concrete class C25.
Consumption: 80 kg/m² (if layer thickness is 40mm)
Application
The base or formwork must not be frozen
The base must be firm, durable and free of cracks
Clean the base from less durable and/or detachable layers
Scrape particularly dense and/or smooth bases
Prime highly absorbent surfaces with SAKRET BG primer or SAKRET UG primer (diluted in a ratio of 1:3)
Prime particularly smooth concrete surfaces with SAKRET QG primer
Mix SAKRET BF in a clean container with cold water (use warm water in winter conditions) until a homogeneous mass without lumps is formed
Observe all SAKRET BF preparation conditions indicated on the packaging
After maturing time (~3 minutes), mix again
Use non-absorbent or weakly absorbent formwork for concreting
Provide sufficient reinforcement cover in reinforced concrete structures
Observe deformation joint intervals for large horizontal structures
Treat formwork with formwork oil
Pour concrete into formwork evenly and compact
Apply mortar in the required layer thickness, compact, level and smooth
Do not fill expansion joints with concrete!
The temperature of the concrete mix at the time of concreting must not be lower than +80C
Immediately after completion of the work, protect the structures with a waterproofing material and then with a thermal insulation material, such as polyethylene film and mineral wool boards
The temperature of any base or formwork must be such that the concrete does not freeze before reaching the critical or calculated temperature, with a minimum of +5°C
Use mixes with a class no lower than M5
Clean all bricks and blocks from snow and ice before masonry
It is recommended to perform thermal calculations for the concrete structure (concrete curing time, required thermal insulation properties, concrete pouring temperature)
At temperatures above +5°C, antifreeze additives act as accelerators of hardening
Technical data refers to a temperature of +20°C and 50% relative humidity. Lower temperature increases, higher temperature decreases the specified values
Protect the mortar during the hardening phase from sunlight, drafts and excessively high temperatures (>30°C)
Protect fresh mortar from rain and excessively rapid drying
Once the mortar has started to set, do not add water anymore!
Immediately after preparing the mortar, rinse the containers and tools with water
Hardened mortar can only be removed mechanically
Contains cement, reacts alkaline
Protect the skin and eyes, follow the technical instructions. If the mortar gets into the eyes, rinse with plenty of water and, if necessary, seek medical attention
Protect the packaging from the effects of weather, store on wooden pallets, in a cool and dry place, immediately cover any opened packaging
