Kiilto Kestonit LH Drywall Joint Filler for Walls 20kg

Kiilto Drywall Putty Kestonit LH is a polymer-based putty for walls. Designed for fine wall and ceiling puttying in dry rooms. Can be applied in a layer up to 2mm thick. White color. Consumption: 1.2 kg/m2/mm. The substrate must be dry, firm, clean, and free of dust. Slowly mix the putty powder in cool (+18°C), clean water until a homogeneous mass is formed. Allow the prepared mass to stand for about 15 minutes and then mix again. Apply the putty mass to surfaces by hand using a metal spatula or mechanically by spraying.

Consumption: 1.2 kg/m2 (in a 1mm thick layer)

Smooth out the mechanically applied putty mass by hand using a metal spatula. Before applying a new layer of putty, the previous layer must be completely dry. If necessary, sand the first applied layer of putty and thoroughly clean before applying a new layer. The finished surface can be painted or covered with wallpaper. Suitable surfaces for puttying are concrete, plaster, puttied surfaces, silica bricks, fired bricks, and plasterboard panels. Not suitable for puttying surfaces before tiling or applying plastic coverings.

DRYING TIMEApproximately 24 hours (+18°C). If the ready putty mass needs to be stored until the next day, its drying can be prevented by sealing the container containing the putty.

CURING TIMEApproximately 24 hours (+18°C). The drying time is influenced by the thickness of the putty layer, air temperature, and relative humidity.

RECOMMENDED CONDITIONS OF USERoom, putty, and material temperature: +18...20°C.Material moisture: concrete <3.5% or <90% RH.

SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTIONAvoid contact with fresh putty mass on the skin as it is alkaline. It is recommended to use a respirator during mixing and sanding. The product does not contain bone glue or gelatin. Special safety information and disposal instructions can be obtained for the product, and you will find disposal instructions on the product label.

STORAGEStore in a cool and dry place, in the original packaging, for no longer than 1 year.
