Flexible tile adhesive weber easy fix Tile adhesive for interior and exterior work - in wet and dry rooms, terraces, balconies and facade finishing systems. Suitable for stable horizontal and vertical mineral substrates, plasterboard, waterproofing and heated floors. Used for bonding stone mass, ceramic, mosaic, large format and clinker tiles. Used in the Weber tile facade system. For pools, Weber recommends the flexible tile adhesive Weber.vetonit RF.

APPLICATION

The substrate to be tiled must be stable, leveled and cleaned from substances that weaken adhesion: debris, dust and oils. The temperature of the substrate and air during application and 2 days after application must be above +5°C. It is advisable to lightly moisten or prime concrete and other absorbent substrates with Weber SAD-54 deep primer (before applying Weber waterproofing, priming of the substrates is mandatory). For heated floors, it is recommended to raise the temperature to the maximum for a few hours, then turn off the heating and let the floor cool for one day.• Dry mix should be mixed only with clean water. Do not add more water than indicated - it reduces the adhesive properties. Mixing should be done with a mixer for 3-5 minutes until a workable, homogeneous mass without lumps is obtained. Then let the mixture stand for about 10 minutes for the substances in it to react fully with water and the adhesive to obtain the appropriate consistency. Before starting the application, mix the mixture lightly again. It is recommended to mix the amount of tile adhesive that can be used within 4 hours at the same time.• The adhesive mortar should be applied to the substrate to be tiled in a layer 3-15 mm thick using a smooth trowel or spatula. During application, the mixture should be pressed to ensure better penetration into the substrate and provide the best possible adhesion. Then the applied layer should be smoothed with a notched trowel. At the same time, a square that can be covered with tiles within 10-15 minutes should be covered. Tiles should be applied one by one on the covered substrate. After placing each tile, press it firmly in different directions, thus ensuring a tight bond. As a result, the back of the ceramic wall tile should be covered with adhesive at least 80%, but in other cases, the backs of the tiles should be fully covered. For large format tiles, apply adhesive to both the substrate and the back of the tile. Mosaic tiles should not be connected with paper or mesh. To check the adhesion of the tiles to the substrate, occasionally remove and put back a tile, checking how it sticks back. The tile layout can be adjusted within 10 minutes after attachment. The adhesive in the joints should not rise higher than half the depth of the joint. Excess mortar should be immediately cleaned with a damp vacuum cleaner. Tile spacers and other connection fixing tools should be removed when the adhesive hardens. Tools should be washed with water immediately after work. It is allowed to lightly walk on the tiled floor after 1 day.• Joint sealing can be done after 2-3 days. For joints 1-8 mm wide, Weber recommends 30 color shades of elastic tile grout Weber.vetonit DECO and silicone sealants Weber.color. Underfloor heating systems should be turned on gradually and no earlier than a week after grouting.
