Sakret BAM floor leveling mass 3-40mm, 25kg

Sakret Floor leveling compound BAMUsed for leveling or creating slopes on mineral surfaces with compressive strength ≥ 25 N/mm2 in floor coverings. Suitable for both outdoor and indoor use, including areas with high humidity (basements, garage floors, laundries, water drains); for installation of underfloor heating; leveled floors can be covered with various materials (ceramic, stone or marble tiles, PVC surfaces, parquet, linoleum, carpets).

Consumption: 1.6 kg/m2 (1mm thick layer)

Surface preparation:

• The base must be dry and firm, all cracks and voids must be filled
• Clean the surface from less durable and/or detachable layers
• Prime absorbent surfaces with SAKRET UG primer (diluted 1:2)
• Dry and highly absorbent surfaces should be primed twice!
• The compound can be used on concrete and other mineral substrates
• Do not use SAKRET BAM on gypsum or anhydrite substrates!
• When using on heated floors, turn off the heating 5 days before and do not turn it on for 28 days after application!

Application:

• Mix SAKRET BAM in a clean container with cold water until a homogeneous mass without lumps is formed
• It is recommended to use a mixer with 600 revolutions per minute
• After the maturing time of ~3 minutes, mix again
• Do not dilute the starting mass with water, but mix again with a mixer
• Pour the mass onto the surface (layer thickness ≥3mm) and level it
• Do not fill expansion joints with the leveling compound
• When leveling the base, an amortizing material must be embedded along the perimeter
• When using the material for large-volume floor leveling, the intervals of floor expansion joints must be observed

Instructions:

• The technical data refers to a temperature of +20°C and 50% relative air humidity. Lower temperature increases, higher temperature decreases the specified values
• Protect the leveling compound during the hardening phase from sunlight, drafts, frost, and excessively high temperatures (>25°C)
• Hardened compound can only be removed mechanically
• Contains cement, reacts alkaline
• Protect the skin and eyes, follow the technical instructions. If the product gets into the eyes, rinse with plenty of water and, if necessary, seek medical attention
• Protect the packaging from weather conditions, store on wooden pallets, in a cool and dry place, immediately cover any opened packaging
