Mapei Adesilex P10 Tile Adhesive for Mosaic (C2TE), White, 25kg

Mapei tile adhesive Adesilex P10 is an improved cement-based adhesive with synthetic resin additives in white color with anti-slip effect and extended bonding time for bonding glass, ceramic and marble mosaics on cement-based and plasterboard surfaces, including curved ones. When mixed with Isolastic, the adhesive is suitable for bonding in swimming pools on Mapelastic waterproofing, as well as for interior work on existing tile coverings. Not intended for wood substrates. Adesilex P10 is a dry mixture in white color, made from cement, graded aggregates, synthetic resins and additives, according to the recipe developed in MAPEI scientific laboratory.

APPLICATION:

Intended for interior and exterior use for creating floor and wall coverings with traditional or heavy glass, ceramic and marble mosaics, using various bonding techniques.

PREPARATION OF THE ADHESIVE:

Continuously mix Adesilex P10 in a container, where the necessary amount of water has been poured in advance - 100% Adesilex P10: 36% water (9 liters of water per 25 kg of product). Mix the composition with a slow-action mechanical mixer until a homogeneous consistency mass is obtained. After 5-10 minutes, mix the composition again. The correct preparation time for the adhesive is 8 hours.

APPLICATION OF THE ADHESIVE

To ensure high adhesion to the substrate, it is recommended to apply the first layer on the substrate with a smooth trowel. This will extend the bonding and correction time. Apply the next layer with a notched trowel of the appropriate size. The next important condition after choosing the appropriate trowel is to cover 100% of the tile substrate with adhesive. When creating a tile covering from tiles with a specially notched substrate, it is recommended to apply Adesilex P10 adhesive not only on the surface, but also on the tile substrate.
