Tikkurila Maalipesu Alkaline Cleaning Agent 1l

An alkaline cleaning and degreasing agent for surface preparation before painting. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Cleans uncoated surfaces by removing dirt, grease, wax, etc. Suitable for preparing hard and glossy painted surfaces before painting. Undiluted Maalipesu cleans and creates a matte surface, improving adhesion with the new coat of paint. Latex and other matte painted surfaces can be cleaned with diluted Maalipesu (1 part Maalipesu, 10 parts water or 1 part Maalipesu, 5 parts water). Maalipesu is particularly suitable for cleaning very dirty surfaces when strong solvent action is required without harmful effects of solvents. Not recommended for metal sheet roofs. Walls, floors, furniture, doors, construction boards, boats, etc.

APPLICATION:

Preparation - Glass and other surfaces that can be attacked by alkaline cleaning agents must be covered.

Treatment - Apply undiluted Maalipesu to hard and glossy surfaces with a brush, sponge or cloth. Allow Maalipesu to act for a few minutes. Rinse the surface with a brush and thoroughly rinse with water. Undiluted Maalipesu cleans the surface and creates a matte coating that improves adhesion with the new coat of paint. Latex or other matte surfaces can be pre-treated with Maalipesu diluted with water at a ratio of 1:10. Diluted Maalipesu (at a ratio of 1:10) can also be used as a cleaning agent. Very dirty surfaces can be treated with a stronger solution of 1:5. Rinse thoroughly with water. First, apply Maalipesu cleaning agent to a small test area of the treated surface (diluted or undiluted, depending on the application). Using a too strong mixture of Maalipesu can damage certain painted surfaces.
