Breathable diffusion membrane with micro-perforations, 1.5x50m, 75m2

Diffusion film with micro-perforations. Used in roof constructions as a waterproofing and windproof membrane with a high vapor permeability coefficient. Also used in wall constructions as a highly breathable windproof insulation. Apply with printed side facing up, overlapping joints with Tyvek Tape or Gerband Outside DM Tape (386). It is recommended to isolate nail areas with low slope roofs with Tyvek Nail Tape.

Diffusion membranes combine the properties of multiple films. They protect thermal insulation and wood structures as a waterproofing and at the same time protect thermal insulation from heat loss due to wind action (blowouts). Like windproof insulation, they must have high water vapor permeability, which ensures easy moisture escape from roof constructions.

Install tightly against thermal insulation. If installing horizontally, create 10-15 cm overlaps. Seal overlap joints with frost and moisture resistant adhesive tapes (such as Tyvek Tape or Gerband Outside DM Tape (386)). Create ventilation gaps above the film.
