If the product is stored in containers or silos, they should be completely emptied before longer storage (winter break). Storage time in original, sealed packaging is approximately 12 months.

Substrate preparation: The masonry, concrete or firm old surfaces must be clean, dry and have good load-bearing capacity. Remove dirt and separating substances (e.g. formwork oil) as well as protruding java edges. Remove damaged, loose old surfaces and structural plaster as much as possible. Level off recessed areas in the plaster and plaster them to the same level as the rest of the surface. Thoroughly clean highly absorbent, crumbling or powdery surfaces to a firm substrate and prime with Sylitol-Konzentrat 111.

Consumption: Approx. 4.0-4.5 kg/m2 The mentioned consumption is approximate. Deviations related to the object and embedding specifics should be taken into account.

Embedding conditions:

Embedding temperature: During embedding and drying phase, the ambient and substrate temperature must not be lower than +5 °C and exceed +30 °C. Do not embed in direct sunlight, wind, fog or high air humidity conditions. In this regard, we refer to the German Association of Plastering Work Specialists' memo "Applying plaster in high and low temperature conditions".

Material preparation: Capatect-Dämmkleber 185 can be prepared with any continuous operation mixer, as well as manually mixed with a powerful slow-speed mixing device, adding clean, cold water until a homogeneous mass is formed, allowing it to mature for approx. 10 minutes and then mixing again. If necessary, the desired consistency can be achieved by adding a small amount of water after this maturing time. Water consumption approx. 5.5-6.0 l per 25 kg bag. Depending on the weather conditions, the working time is approx. 2 hours (setting time). Under no circumstances should hardened material be diluted with water.
