The Bosch AXT 22 D quiet garden shredder effortlessly processes branches up to 38 mm in diameter with an optimised drum cutting mechanism that literally crushes fibrous material into garden mulch. The powerful 2,200-watt motor produces huge torque for an electric garden shredder, up to 600 Nm, yielding a debris throughput of up to 180kg/hour. The safety shielded cutting mechanism is particularly useful for mulching slightly harder woods, useful if you have hedges containing blackthorn for example, yet also keeps the noise levels very low indeed. The self feed mechanism of drum shredders increases the throughput rates of these machines and a conveniently placed 53-litre collection box is supplied as standard.
