Weber .tec 915 bitumen waterproofing - adhesive (mastic) 30l

Waterproofing bitumen coating adhesive weber.tec 915 - Elastic, waterproof bitumen mixture without solvents. 1-component or 2-component material - the second component is added to accelerate drying in adverse weather conditions. Used for external waterproofing of structures in contact with the ground, as well as for sealing under leveling layers in damp rooms, balconies, terraces, and for bonding EPS and XPS insulation boards. Suitable for all types of mineral substrates, as well as old bitumen and paint coatings. Must not be used on zinc, aluminum, polyethylene, and surfaces that are not resistant to UV rays.

Consumption: 4-5.5 l/m2

APPLICATION:

PREPARATION:

• The substrate to be treated must be stable, dry or slightly damp, and free from substances that weaken adhesion: debris, dust, and oils. Mineral substrates must be primed with the waterproofing bitumen emulsion Weber.tec 901 (diluted with water in a ratio of 1:10). Old bitumen and paint coatings must be primed with the waterproofing mastic Weber.tec Superflex D 2.• The one-component material is ready for application. For the two-component material, both components must be mixed and stirred for several minutes until a workable, homogeneous mass is obtained.• Weber.tec 915 is applied with a trowel or spatula in 1-2 layers. The second layer is applied immediately after the first layer has dried. If the substrate is under water pressure, a fiber fabric Weber.vetonit FM must be embedded in the first layer. When treating the joints of concrete elements, a 300 mm wide strip of glass fiber mesh (4 mm, 160 g/m2) must be used for reinforcement. When treating expansion joints, waterproofing tapes Weber.tec Superflex B 240 or B 400 must be used. The total thickness of the coating must correspond to the load group indicated in the table below.• When bonding insulation boards, Weber.tec 915 must be applied in 6-8 hand-sized strips on the back of the boards or over the entire board.• When backfilling foundations, care must be taken to avoid mechanical damage to the applied coating with stones.
