Weber.tec 930 waterproofing with capillary action effect - Waterproofing with capillary action effect for basements, foundations, wells and water tanks (aqua stop). Industrially produced dry building mixture, which, when mixed with water, becomes a waterproofing agent for underground structures against moisture. Allows direct contact with drinking water. Suitable for all types of mineral-based substrates, plastered/smoothed with cement-based materials.

Application• The substrate to be treated must be free of cracks, stable, dry and free from substances that weaken adhesion and access to the capillary system: dust, oils, cement milk, lime, paint layers. Dry surfaces should be moistened.• The dry mixture should only be mixed with clean water. Do not add more water than indicated - this reduces the waterproofing and adhesion properties of the material. Mixing should be done with a mixer for 3-5 minutes until a workable, homogeneous mass without lumps is obtained. Then let the mixture stand for about 5 minutes and mix lightly again.• Weber.tec 930 should be applied in 2 cross layers. The first layer must be applied with a brush. The subsequent layers are applied with a trowel and leveled with a brush. The application of the next layer can only be done after the previous layer has completely hardened. The consumption for one layer should be approximately 2 kg/m2. The total layer thickness must correspond to the load group indicated in the table below. If the substrate is constantly under water pressure, Weber.tec 930 should be applied in 3 layers.• The part of the substrate treated with waterproofing must be at least 300 mm above the intended ground level. After the material is applied, the surface should be kept moist for at least 1 day and protected from sunlight and freezing for at least 5 days.• The surface covered with Weber.tec 930 can be tiled using the elastic tile adhesive Weber Extra Fix. Various protective coatings or vertical surfaces can also be plastered with cement-based plaster.
