Dolphin QD VX 16000 Submersible Water Pump 0.6kW (113874)

The submersible pump is designed for pumping clean drainage water. It is permissible to pump water with a small amount of solid particles up to 2 mm in diameter, which are not abrasive. The pump can be used for small suction work, such as removing water from flooded basements, small waterlogging works, pumping rainwater, operating small garden fountains, and maintaining small swimming pools.

Usage restrictions:

1. The temperature of the pumped water must not exceed +35°C.
2. It is prohibited to pump water with mud, sand, or other abrasive particles, as well as oil-based and chemically aggressive fluids.
3. Not intended for watering gardens.

Installation:

1) The pump must be placed on the floor of the suction tank or hung above the sediment layer several centimeters above the handle.
2) The pump should be positioned so that the float-type gravity valve can move freely in a vertical direction.
3) The maximum allowable submersion depth of the pump below the water level is up to 7 meters.
4) The minimum water level for the pump to start operating is 12 cm.

Suction to the minimum water level:

The minimum water level that can be suctioned is about 5 cm. In addition, the float valve must be lifted up and secured vertically. In this position, the pump is left without protection against running dry. The pump operator must be present at all times and monitor the pump's operation. If the water supply has stopped, the pump must be disconnected from the power supply by pulling out the contact plug.

Connecting the hose:

The water supply hose can be connected to the pump:
1. Using the outlet with a "spigot" (included in the package), attaching the hose with an internal diameter of 38mm to it and tightening it with a clamp.
2. Using the external thread 1"1/2 on the pump body, to which a transition to a smaller diameter tube is screwed (not included in the package).

Hose selection:

Use a hose that retains its shape and is open along its entire length. A soft hose that has become flat or has hardened at the folds can create such resistance to the flow of water that the pump cannot open it. Use the Aliflex hose with a diameter of 38mm. It is not recommended to use hoses with a diameter smaller than 19mm.

Adjusting the gravity valve:

The gravity valve turns the pump on and off automatically depending on the water level. To fix it, a hook is provided on the side of the pump handle. The cable of the gravity valve is placed in this hook. The length of the cable must be adjusted so that when the gravity valve is in the lower position, the pump is guaranteed to be disconnected from the power supply.

Operation:

1. The pump must be completely submerged underwater during operation.
2. The pump does not require any lubrication or pre-wetting of the housing with water. It is ready for operation immediately after being submerged underwater.
3. The pump is turned on and off by the gravity valve as the water level rises or falls.

Operating duration:

The pump is not intended for professional suction work. The manufacturer has created a pump that is designed for long-term continuous operation without specifying the duration, but it is recommended to disconnect it from the power supply for a couple of hours after every 4 hours of continuous operation.

Materials:

The pump housing, suction flange, and motor shaft are made of stainless steel, and the impeller is made of technopolymer. The pump chamber is separated from the motor by a ceramic-graphite seal. The rotor shaft is equipped with self-lubricating sealed ball bearings that do not require any maintenance.
