Nocchi Simer 5 Submersible Water Pump 0.9kW (111021)

The submersible pump SIMER-5 is specially designed for pumping operations where the water level is spread thin over a large area. It is used for pumping water from flat roofs, sports fields, tennis courts, basements, garages, warehouses, etc. Thanks to the special construction of the pump's lower part and the air release valve, the pump can start pumping water from a water level as low as 5 mm. The remaining water level after pumping is -2 mm.

Limitations of use:

1. The temperature of the pumped water must not exceed +60°C.
2. It is forbidden to pump saltwater, as well as liquids containing oil products and chemically aggressive substances.
3. It must not be used in fish ponds.
4. Not intended for garden irrigation.

Operation:
Place the pump on a flat surface that is covered with at least a 5 mm thick layer of water. When the pump starts operating, air is automatically expelled through the air release valve hole on the side of the pump body, and a jet of water flows out through it during the entire operation of the pump. The pump has a special motor cooling system that allows it to operate underwater for a long time without submerging. The pump does not have a level sensor, so the pump operator must be present at all times and monitor the pump's operation. If the water supply is exhausted, the pump must be disconnected from the power supply by pulling out the contact pin. If the pump is equipped with level electrodes (not included in the pump's configuration), it can operate in automatic mode.

Choice of hose:
The water supply hose can be attached to the pump using a fitting with a "spigot" (included in the configuration), onto which a hose with an internal diameter of 13mm, 19mm, or 25mm is attached and secured with a clamp. Use a hose that retains its shape and is open along its entire length. A soft hose that has become flat or has closed up at the folds can create such resistance to the flow of water that the pump cannot open it up.

Operating duration:
The pump is not intended for professional pumping operations. The manufacturer has created a pump that is designed for long-term continuous operation, without specifying the duration, but it is recommended to disconnect it from the power supply for a couple of hours after every 4 hours of continuous operation.

Maintenance:
The pump's automatic air release valve must not be clogged, it must always be clean and allow water and released air to pass through. The pump's inlet strainer must be cleaned regularly. The oil (ZBR39630) must be replaced every 1000 working hours. The oil filling quantity is 200 ml, and it must not be overdosed. This can lead to pump damage.
