Details

The portable submersible pump PRATIKA is designed for lifting clean water from a large depth (up to 46 m). It is particularly recommended in cases where the water level in the well is less than 8m and it is not possible to use conventional centrifugal pumps and water supply units. The four-stage pump generates relatively high pressure and, when combined with a small pressure tank and pressure switch, can easily be converted into a water supply unit. The pump is also convenient to use if there is already a submersible pump in the house's water supply system and it needs to be replaced with a more modern and safer one.

Materials:

The pump housing, motor housing, outer shell, and suction filter are made of stainless steel AISI 304. The impeller wheels and diffusers are made of a special plastic-technopolymer reinforced with glass fibers. The impeller wheel bushings and rotor shaft are made of stainless steel. The pump is equipped with a special graphite-ceramic seal and a double seal with lubricant. The rotor shaft is mounted with self-lubricating sealed ball bearings that require no maintenance. The rotor shaft is coated with ceramic in the seal areas. The pump is equipped with a float-type gravity switch that automatically shuts it off when the water level is low.

Installation:

The pump should be securely hung from the well cover using a rigid chain. It should be positioned at least 80cm above the sediment layer. However, if there is a possibility of dirt entering the pump, it should be placed in addition to a fine metal mesh basket. A check valve must be installed in the discharge pipe to prevent water from being forced back into the well when the pump stops. The pump should be placed so that the float-type gravity switch can move freely in a vertical direction.

Pipe diameter:

The water supply pipe can be made of either plastic or metal, but the metal pipe and the pump should be connected with a half-meter long flexible hose.
